Great food and coffee selection! If you need an easy spot to grab a coffee, kill some time or do a little work, it is a wonderful spot for that. Their vegan breakfast is also wonderful and comes with a ton of vegetables (which is nice since sometimes vegan/vegetarian can equal carbscarbscarbs for some places). They also have a pretty good tea list and give you a nice big pot so you get at least 3 cups for an affordable price!

The weather wasn't too nice when I visited but it looks like they had some nice outdoor seating as well.

Disclaimer:  I live literally down the block in the Triangle so this place gets a lot of my business. But to be fair, it deserves it. The coffee is good, the baked goods are a bit on the spendy side but always delicious, and their simple breakfast is excellent.

Oh, it gets crowded. And yes, many a twenty/thirty  something treats it like their personal office, plonking down to absorb the bandwidth for hours or holding  bizarre sounding "meetings" with others who look exactly like them. And it gets loud a lot. Kids sometimes free range all over the place. Still,  it's a neighborhood spot and we be neighbors. So, y'all come.

I tried. Went back on a Sunday for brunch at noon. Out of all but three food items. If you're this consistently sold out of your food, MAKE MORE FOOD!

Staff was indifferent at best, rude at worst (normal occurrence).

Try Grand Army across the street after you go and they don't have what you want at Woodlawn.

This is a great coffee shop that used Portland's best... Stumptown Coffee! Everything here is great. Lots of incredible pasty's as well as a really solid breakfast selection of biscuits and gravy and breakfast sandwiches. This area of Dekum is great to come hang out while yo get your coffee to go! If you would like to stay inside there are a lot of tables, and it's very well lit. Expect it to be a little busy as everything is made in house and it really is a gem in the area. Absolutely the go to place in Thai area! Cheers!!!
